2025 Mada Pinot Gris
If you think Pinot Gris is just another light, crisp white, this one might surprise you. There's plenty of juicy pear and fresh citrus, but it's the extra richness and texture that really make it stand out, with a little spice and a dry, savoury finish keeping everything nicely balanced. It's full of flavour without feeling heavy, seriously food-friendly and a cracking example of why Pinot Gris deserves a bit more attention, which is exactly why it made the cut.
What to eat with it?
Dumplings would be an absolute winner here, particularly pork or chicken with a little chilli and ginger. Roast chicken, creamy pasta or anything with a bit of spice will also work beautifully.
Drink now or later?
We'd be drinking this now while the fruit is fresh and vibrant. It's got enough structure to hold for another couple of years, but that lovely balance of richness and freshness is already doing exactly what it should.
