2026 Yangarra Estate ‘Circle’ Piquepoul

Never heard of Piquepoul? Don't worry, you're probably not alone, but this is exactly the kind of wine we love putting in a Killa Plonk box. It's fresh, zesty and citrusy with a slightly salty edge, but here's the trick: give it 10 minutes on the bench after taking it out of the fridge and it really opens up, bringing out more flavour and texture with every sip. It's refreshing, a little different and a cracking example of why trying something you've never heard of can seriously pay off, which is exactly why it made the cut.

What to eat with it?

Seafood, seafood, seafood. Oysters are the obvious match, but prawns, grilled fish, calamari or anything fresh and salty will be right at home here. Sunshine wouldn't hurt either.
