2025 Patrick Sullivan Limestone Chardonnay
This is Chardonnay with plenty going on, but none of it gets in the way of simply being bloody good to drink. Fresh lemon and citrus lead the way, with juicy stone fruit and just enough creamy richness underneath to give it some extra weight without ever feeling heavy. It's bright, layered and seriously good drinking right now, which made it a pretty easy one to make the cut.
What to eat with it?
This can handle a bit more than your average fresh white. Roast chicken, grilled fish, seafood pasta or anything with a creamy sauce will work a treat, but it's equally good cold from the fridge with nothing more complicated than a bowl of salty snacks.
Drink now or later?
Now. There's enough quality and structure here that it won't fall over if you hang onto it, but this wine is absolutely singing while it's young, fresh and vibrant. Don't wait for a special occasion.
