2022 Glaetzer Wallace Shiraz Grenache
This is Barossa red doing what Barossa red does best. Big on flavour, generous in the glass and seriously satisfying. The Shiraz brings loads of juicy dark fruit and depth, while the Grenache keeps everything bright and lively, so you get all that richness without it becoming too heavy. It's bold enough for the Shiraz lovers, easy enough to keep pouring, and that's exactly why it made the cut.
What to eat with it?
Give this one something with a bit of char. Steak off the barbecue, lamb chops, burgers or slow-cooked beef will all be very happy alongside it.
Drink now or later?
Take your pick. Drink it now for all that bright, juicy fruit, or put it away and let the Shiraz take over as it develops as there's enough here to comfortably cellar for 8–10 years.
