2024 Deep Woods Estate Cabernet Merlot

This is a proper Cabernet Merlot without any of the ceremony. Packed with rich dark fruit, it's smooth and generous but has enough structure and savoury character to make it feel like a seriously good bottle. You could tuck it away for a special occasion or crack it with pizza on a Monday night with that combination of quality and pure drinkability is exactly why it made the cut.

What to eat with it?

This loves something rich and hearty. Slow-cooked lamb, a good steak, beef ragu or even a seriously loaded pizza will all do the trick.

Drink now or later?

Both. It's drinking beautifully now, but this is one worth forgetting about in the cellar too as it should comfortably develop over the next 5–10 years.
